Veterinary Compounding

Veterinary Compounding Made for the Animals You Treat.

Giving an animal medication is not always simple. Cats resist pills, dogs refuse unfamiliar medications, and larger animals can present entirely different administration challenges.

At Olive Tree Compounding Pharmacy, we work with veterinarians and pet owners to prepare patient-specific veterinary medications when an appropriate manufactured medication cannot meet an animal's individual needs. Depending on the prescription, compounding may allow for customized strengths, alternative dosage forms, or other formulation adjustments that can make administering prescribed medication more practical.

Let's get you started.

Flavored Prescriptions

Medication isn't always palatable, especially for our furry friends. Our Pharmacists can flavor prescriptions to taste like beef, tuna, bacon, or chicken. Alternatively, if your pet likes fruit flavors or peanut butter, we can incorporate these tastes into their customized formulation as well, making it easier for you to give your pet the medicine they need.
